Minerva's Mom

Here’s the colored version of Minerva’s Mom, the queen of Distrovia! I really like how the flowers turned out… v///v 🌸

A little bit about relationship between the two… Min’s Mom was always very strict and cold, and her and husband only had children out of necessity like many royals, I presume. The children were left to be raised by their nannies, and as a result, Minerva has never been close to her mother. But their lack of closeness, doesn’t stop the queen from imposing on Minerva’s life and forcing her to be a certain way.

This constricting home life leads Minerva to constantly sneak out of the castle in disguise. Of course when this was discovered, it resulted in a huge fight, which ultimately ended with Minerva being unofficially exiled.

So yeah… Not a good relationship… I didn’t mention it, but a great point of contention is the fact that Minerva is gay and her mother wants her to marry a male suitor.
